Ysidra Galvan Passes Away
Ysidra Galvan, 61, a resident of Mojave for the past 35 years, passed away in 
Bakersfield on Monday, January 23,1956. Mrs. Galvan was born in Mexico, May 
15, 1894 and was a widow, her husband, Ed, having passed away some years earlier.	
Survivors include her sons, Joe and Edward of Mojave and Phillip of Delano. 
Daughters are Lupe Galvan and Florence Lara of Mojave; Nellie Lader of Delano and 
Vee Galvan of Salinas.	!
Rosary services were held Wednesday evening at the Galvan residence, 213 L 
Street and Mass was celebrated Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of the 
Desert Church with Father Eckert officiating, 
Funeral services were in charge of O'Donnell Funeral Home Mojave and 
interment in Lancaster Cemetery at the side of her husband.
