Maria Manuela Garcia passed away on February 27, 2001 in Lancaster of natural causes. Maria was 
born June 18, 1925 in Mexico.
Maria, a housewife, leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Antonio Garcia, her children, Juan, Mio 
Guadalupe, Jose, Arcadio, Antonia, Arcelia, Raul, Lucila, Ramon, Jesus, Oscar and Martin, all of 
California or Mexico. Maria was a loving grandmother to 49 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren 
and will be greatly missed by them and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, March 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Stickel Mortuary. Services were held 
Friday, March 2,2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Mojave, California. Services 
were conducted by Father Neil Kalina.
