Funeral held Monday for Lois Marie Gills at 70
DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary chapel for Lois Marie 
Gills, a longtime local resident and a member of the Downey Elks Lodge. 
She was 70, born in Los Angeles Jan. 10, 1929 to parents William and Ruth, and died at her home in Downey 
Dec. 31. 
She was full of life, and always had time to spend with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the 
Stox Dinner Club, and loved bowling and shopping. 
Survivors include her niece, Sharon, and a nephew, Bill. 
Burial followed at Inglewood Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
