	Entered into rest on July 5, 2003 in Fremont, CA. He was born in 
Arnold, Nebraska on October 3, 1924 and moved to Fremont in 1961. 
Donald served in the Navy and was a flight engineer for 21 years. Donald is 
survived by his wife Bonnie, two daughters, Dawn Lunn of Newark and Starr 
Long of Palmdale; 4 grandchildren, Paul Avila, Sean Carson, Amy Stoopin 
and Eric Lunn; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alek, Siena, Nikki, Angeli and 
Sofia. His parents, Charles Gion and Eva Gion, preceded him in death. 
Donald is remembered for his love of working. He was nicknamed "Wheeler 
Dealer". Please join our family in the celebration of his life Wednesday, July 9, 
2003 at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels from 12 - 1 p.m. followed by 
burial at Irvington Memorial Cemetery at 1 p.m. Donations may be made to St. 
Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
