Friends, family grieve for Jennie Giordano at 89
DOWNEY-A Mass was heard at St. Raymond's Church Sept. 2 for Jennie Giordano, a Downey resident for 
45 years and a homemaker, who died Aug. 28. 
She was 89, born in Arizona, and was a member of St. Raymond's Church, the Downey Woman's Club, 
TOPS, Neighbors of Woodcraft, and the Navy Mothers. 
Survivors include her daughter, Angie Hirnschall; son and daughter-in-law Nick and Vicky Giordano; daughter 
and son-in-law Rachel and John Grana; son-in-law Ralph Brigantino; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 
six great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John and Frank Salerni. 
Father Bob of St. Raymond's officiated. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were by the 
Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
