GOODWIN-At his residence, No. 694 Franklin avenue, in this city, Chester 
Carpenter Goodwin, husband of Mary D. Goodwin and uncle of M.M. Dennan of San 
Diego; a native of Kentucky and a veteran of the Confederate army; aged 71 
years 7 months and 17 days.
	Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Johnson & 
Connell's chapel. D and Seventh streets at 4 O'clock p.m. today (Sunday). Rev. 
J.T. French officiating. Interment at Greenwood cemetery.
