Source Unknown; Date Unknown June 12, 1941 Aug. 6, 2004 George Clifford Graham was born on June 12, 1941, in Mason City, Iowa, and went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 6, at his home in Tehachapi. His parents Alice and Clair C. Graham and his brother James Archie Graham preceded him in death. George grew up in Bakersfield and graduated from KCUHS (Bakersfield High School). He was involved in sports as a team manager and audiovisual assistant. He and his family moved to Tehachapi in 1968. He was an active member of the Nazarene Church from the beginning. He was a teacher in his church and a willing worker in the many needs of the church, such as electrician, custodian, treasurer and bus driver. He was secretary of the board of the Signers for Christ. The best thing about George is that he was truly a man of God. He lived his Christianity, as does his wife Ollie. He was a true example who encouraged those around him to be like Christ. George is survived by his wife, Ollie Fay Graham nee Reaves, and five children, daughters Edwina Faith Hubbell, Phyllis Hope Graham and Charity Lee Bartel and sons Scott LaDale Graham and Gerald Eugene Graham, and 19 grandchildren. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, Edith Irene Ynacay, Lovina Romain Payton, Robert Clair Graham, Mary Alice Byers, John Brooks Graham, Merlin Orville Graham and Tommy Joe Graham, and many nieces and nephews.
