Graveside services for Marie A. Grassick, 75
DOWNEY-Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 4, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, for 
Marie A. Grassick, a resident of Downey since 1974. 
She was 75, born in Pueblo, Colorado, and died at her Downey home Nov. 28. 
She was a former 54 year employee at Sears, where she held many positions, including executive 
secretary to George Blackman. 
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Downey. 
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Wassgren (Doug); and nephews Doug Wassgren II and Eric Wassgren. 
The family officiated. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies 
Mortuary of Downey.
