Beth was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 26, 1917. She is a graduate of Children's Hospital of San Francisco School of Nursing, and a member of Children's Hospital Nurses Alumni Association. She worked at the hospital from 1938-1946. She was one of the original founders and member of the Washington Hospital Service League. Beth volunteered at Corpus Christi Church as a lay minister. Devoted wife of 64 years to Dr. Elmo "Chuck" M. Grimmer of Fremont. Loving mother and mother- in-law to Dan C. and Elaine Grimmer of Fremont and Terry E. Grimmer of Sunol. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Christopher and his wife, Merrill, and T.J. Grimmer. Loving great-grandmother of Kaitlyn Riley and Haley Mae Grimmer. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 4, 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37891 Second Street, Fremont. Burial will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
