Services set today for Clara June Gum
PARAMOUNT-Funeral services will be held today (Friday, Aug. 14) at 9 a.m. at the Miller-Mies 
Mortuary in Downey for Clara June Gum, who died Aug. 11 in Paramount. 
She was born June 25, 1903 in Columbus, Kansas, and was an active member of the Eastern Star, 
the White Shrine, Amaranth, and Rebekahs until her death. 
Survivors include her son, Guy Gum; granddaughters Cathie Gum, Lavonna Douglas and her husband, 
Mark Douglas; great-grandchildren Heather, Shane, Michael and Lacy. 
The Rebekahs and Eastern Star will officiate. Private family committal service will follow at Rose Hills. 
Arrangements are by the Miller-Mies Mortuary.
