Gene Hirsch Harvey services set March 28
SOUTH GATE-A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the chapel of 
Biby & Belyea Mortuary, 8665 California Ave., South Gate, for Gene Hirsch Harvey, a life-long 
South Gate resident and former truck driver and security guard. 
He was 54, born in El Monte June 27, 1943, and died March 13. 
He was a long-standing member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge No. 663, of Downey, and 
was a former member of the Diamond Tread Model A Car Club of Downey. He served in the U.S. 
Navy from 1963 through 1967, and was preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Marjorie Harvey. 
Survivors include his brothers, Hank Harvey of Mira Loma, Wayne A. Harvey (and wife Betty) of 
South Gate; and several loving friends.
