Memorial services for William Richard Hay
DOWNEY-Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Friday, July 31) at the Miller-Mies 
Mortuary, for William Richard Hay, a 40 year Downey resident and a former employee of Standard 
Steel, U.S. Filter, who died July 27 in Whittier. 
He was 71, born in Barre, Vermont, and was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter-day 
Saints. 
Survivors include his wife, Josephine; daughters Dianne and Lillian; a son, Steven; a daughter-in-law, 
Laura; and grandchildren Audrey, Morgan and Ian. 
Dino Maisano will officiate. Arrangements are by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
