Calvin C. Henderson mourned at age of 96
DOWNEY-Burial was at Riverside National Cemetery for Calvin C. Henderson, a longtime Downey 
resident and a former drycleaner for Alert Cleaners for 25 years, who died Feb. 17 at his daughter's home. 
He was age 96, born in Mulberry, Arkansas, and lived in Downey for more than 30 years. 
Survivors include his daughter, Jeannie Rittenger of Garden Grove; his brother, W.H. Henderson; a sister, 
Jess Hunter; five grandchildren, Bill, Becky, David, Danny and Barry; and six great-grandchildren, Bryan, 
Jennifer, Amy, Justin, Garrett and Cody. 
Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary Chapel in Downey.
