Friends, family mourn Manuel Hernandez at 76
DOWNEY-Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 7, at St. Raymond's Catholic Church for Manuel 
Hernandez, a resident of Downey for 76 years, and a former city employee. 
He was 76, born in Downey, and died Nov. 2 at the Southland Care Center in Norwalk. 
He was a member of the St. Raymond's Catholic Church. 
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Hernandez; his son, Christopher (Sheri) Hernandez; brothers 
John and Edward; sisters Florence Herrera, and Helen Jeffcoats; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, 
Stephanie, Austin, Troy, Dylan and Bryce. 
Father Roberto officiated. 
Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
