Muriel E. Holderness mourned by many at 88
DOWNEY-A Funeral Mass was heard Tuesday, April 14, at St. Dominic Savio Catholic Church, 
for Muriel Elaine Holderness, a homemaker and Downey resident for more than 50 years, who 
died at Bay Convalescent Hospital April 9. 
She was 88, born in Omaha, Nebraska, and was preceded in death by her husband, Doral, in 1981. 
Survivors include her brother, Frank Dailey, M.D., of Bishop; grandsons Richard Gilbert of Santa 
Cruz, Gregory Gilbert of Red Bluff, and numerous nieces and nephews. 
Burial followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
