Lucille T. Hoskins dead at 89: Mourned by many
DOWNEY-Private interment was at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier for 
Lucille T. Hoskins, a resident of Downey for 53-years, who died Oct. 20 at the 
Southland Lutheran Home in Norwalk.

She would have been 90 on Thanksgiving Day, and was a native of Covington, 
Kentucky. The family moved west, settling in Downey in 1943.

She was a member of the Downey Republican Women, the Downey Chapter 
No. 160 of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Downey Community Hospital 
Auxiliary, and the 12:15 Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh A. Hoskins in 1987.

Survivors include her son and his family.
