Margie M. Howe, a 10-year resident of California City, passed away February 10, 2001 of 
complications associated with Cancer. She died in her home in California City.
Margie was born November 1 1 , 1926 in Creel Town, Alabama. She was a housewife.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 29 years, Lyle J. Howe, one granddaughter, Whitney J. Allen, 
both of California City, CA; one son, Mark W. Allen and his wife Sharon M. Allen, of Boulder City, 
NV; her mother Arzilla Roberts of Rainbow City, AL; one sister, Ramona Lyle of Las Vegas, NV; 
and three brothers, John Lewis, and Robert and Harmon Roberts.
A memorial service and visitation was held at Stickel Mortuary on Tuesday, February 13, 2001 
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Services were held on February 17, 2001 at the New Horizon Funeral Home in 
Dora, AL, conducted by Brother Burroughs Church of God.
