M, JENKINS LIVED IN STATE�IS DEAD James Madison Jenkins, for 58 years a resident of California, died at his home south of Ukiah Monday evening at six o'clock. Funeral services will be held in this city this morning at ten o'clock from the Eversole chapel and interment will be in the Potter valley cemetery. Mr. Jenkins was born in North Carolina in 1837 and had been a resident of Mendocino county for more than fifty years, first locating in Jackson valley where he resided until moving to Ukiah about 20 years ago. Mr. Jenkins is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Fales and other relatives who reside in Potter Valley.
