Source Unknown; Date Unknown A memorial service is pending for Jennie Leone Jenkins at the Mojave Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses. Mrs. Jenkins, 80, passed away at her residence in California City on June 26^1999. She was born to her parents, Charles and Lera Hewitt in Tacoma, Washington on May 4, 1919. She was graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma. Formerly, Mrs. Jenkins was employed as a civil service bookkeeper at Ft. Lewis, Tacoma. She was a faithful wife, loving mother/grandmother and sister, who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed traveling especially off of the "beaten path." Her family and friends always considered her a "good sport." Her favorite hobby was reading. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her son, David Jenkins of Tacoma, WA; daughters, Vicki Pasquale of Anaheim, Michal Jenkins-Ritchie of Roy, WA; sisters, Laura Windsor of Chehalis, WA, Marjorie Garden of California City; 13 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren and a special nephew. Wood Family Funeral Service, Tehachapi, handled the arrangements.
