Marian Wilson Jones remembered at age of 91
DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Monday, April 9, at the Rainbow Chapel of Rose Hills Memorial 
Park in Whittier for Marian Wilson Jones, a lifetime local resident who died in Norwalk April 4 from 
complications following a stroke. 
She was 91, born in Downey Feb. 10, 1910. She graduated from USC and taught classes locally until 
her retirement. 
She was an avid gardener and loved flowers, supported local theater, and was an active member of 
the American Association of University Women and the Women's Club of Downey. 
Survivors include her grandsons, Guy Clark, Horacio Carrillo; and a cousin, Martha Gross. 
Services were directed by Rose Hills Mortuary. Burial was at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. 
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Women's Club of Downey Foundation, 
9813 Paramount Blvd., Downey, CA
