Funeral services held for Ruth Ann (Reardon) Jones
DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Dec. 26 in Spanish Fork, Utah for Ruth Ann (Reardon) Jones who 
was born on Jan. 12, 1921 in Hermosa Beach and died Dec. 20, three weeks before her 81st birthday. 
A niece, Irene Lonergan, resides in Downey. 
The family moved to Huntington Park in 1922. She was born to parents John H. and Irene Reardon, 
both of whom preceded her in death in 1965 and 1978. 
She married David B. Jones, also from Huntington Park, on April 2, 1940, in the Mormon Temple in Salt 
Lake City. 
She subscribed to the adage, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop," and kept herself busy by sewing for 
family members and crocheting afghans for them and her friends. 
She is survived by her husband, David; daughters Patricia Ann and Peggy Lee; grandchildren Sheri 
(Randy) Gibbs, Rachel (Tony) Benjamin, Patricia (Corey) Fuller, and David and Jonathan Leach; two 
greatgrandsons Joshua Gibbs and Conner Benjamin; sister Zoe Kaucher (John); brother Robert Reardon 
(Evelyn); and nieces and nephews. 
She was interred at the Spanish Fork City cemetery.
