Funeral Mass heard for Mary Lou Kampus at 74
SOUTH GATE-A Funeral Mass was heard Wednesday, Oct. 14, at St. Raymond's Catholic Church for 
Mary Lou Kampus, a resident of South Gate for 44 years, and a former registered nurse for St. Francis 
Hospital. 
She was 74, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and died Oct. 8. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1990. 
Survivors include her son, Paul (Maria) Pokorski of South Gate; a grandson, David Pokorski of the 
U.S. Army, stationed at Ft. Stewart, Georgia; granddaughter Michelle Pokorski of Huntington Beach; 
and a sister, Barbara Synborski. 
The Rev. Father Steve Davoren officiated. 
Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
