The Downey Eagle October 17, 1997 Volume 5 Number 34 James Francis King mourned by many here DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Hillside Church of Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier for James Francis King, a resident of Downey for 43 years and the business manager for Hollywood Plastic Company where he worked for 35 years, who died at his home Oct. 10. He was born in Butte, Montana, Feb. 5, 1918 and was 79. He was a veteran of the Air Force in World War II, and was attached to a B-17 Bomber Squadron. Survivors include his wife, Corrine King of Downey; sons Gregory Allen King of Diamond Bar, William David King of Tustin; brothers Dominic of Pasadena and Edward of Bakersfield; sisters Marie Ellsworth of Deer Lodge, Montana, and Marian Cook of Missoula, Montana; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
