Peggy Amanda King has memorial today
DOWNEY-Memorial services will be held today, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at Miller-Mies Chapel, 11015 Downey Ave., 
for Peggy Amanda King, 90, who died Feb. 19 here in Downey. Officiating will be Pastor J. Robert Stimmel. 
She was born in Oklahoma and was a Downey resident for 44 years. She was a former employee of the City 
of Downey. 
A member of the Downey United Methodist Church, she was active in the Methodist Woman's Association. 
She is survived by daughter Deidra Whear (Tom), niece Arlene Smith (Vernon), several nieces and nephews, 
four grandnieces and a grandnephew. 
Private burial will be at Rose Hills.
