Charles M. Kirton remembered locally
DOWNEY-Services were held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Charles M. Kirton, 
long-time resident (51 years) of Downey, who died in Whittier Oct. 25. He was 81. 
Officiating was Father John Moloney. 
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Kirton was a Machinist's Mate, Second Class in the U.S. Navy during World 
War II. 
He is survived by his wife Mary, son Rick, daughter Kathy and grandchildren Carey, Chris and Ryan. 
Burial was private. Miller-Mies Mortuary handled the arrangements.
