The Downey Eagle Vol. 4 No. 40; Friday, November 29, 1996 Dr. Kenneth Kullbom mourned by many here DOWNEY-Funeral services for Dr. Kenneth Kullbom, M.D., a longtime Downey resident, were held Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Messiah Lutheran Church of Downey. He was born Dec. 15, 1909, and died Nov. 22, 1996. He was a graduate of Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA, and also a graduate of South Western University of Law in Los Angeles. He served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Medical Corps in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Downey; a son, Steven of Oakdale; daughters Betty (Lyle) MacKenzie of Bellflower, Patricia (Robert) Bolen of Huntington Beach, Judy (David) Valasquez of Mission Viejo; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Burial followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice Inter-Health of Whittier (698-8572). Arrangements were by White's Funeral Home of Bellflower.
