Mrs. La Point Passes Away October 25th
Mrs. Nellie Ann LaPoint, beloved wife of Arthur LaPoint passed away on October 
25, 1954 in Mojave.
She was born in Iowa on December 29, 1881 and she and Al were married in 
Michigan 44 years ago. They came to Mojave 19 years ago and were always active in 
community affairs. Husband Art is the only survivor.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 26, in the Mojave Community 
Congregational Church at 2:00 p.m., under the direction of the O'Donnell Funeral 
Home. Officiant was the Rev. Dr. J. H. Baccus of Redlands, Calif.
Soloist in the flower filled church was Mrs. Rachel Hodges and concluding services 
were held in Mojave Cemetery.
