Source Unknown; 11 Sep 2003 Charles Aumster Lasker, a long-time California City, California resident passed away on September 7, 2003 in Lancaster, California. Charles served in the U.S. Army in 1943, and was employed at Borax and US Railroad. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He had also resided in Kansas, Arkansas and Oakland. Charles is survived by his wife Chong Lasker of California City, son Tae Mauk, granddaughters Quayla Mauk, Tiffani Mauk, grandsons Tayler Mauk and Ethan Mauk, all of Palmdale, California. In memory of our loving husband, father and grandfather. His service to our country and our family was considered unmatched. His generosity and caring is known by many. God rest his soul. Rosary will be held on September 11 at 7 p.m. at Lady of Lourdes Church. Mass and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on September 12 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in California City.
