Source Unknown; 6 Jun 2002 Dale Fidelius Lauchart Dale Lauchart was born in Austria on May 25, 1914 and passed away at home on May 13, 2002. He was a resident of California City, CA for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Navy on a minesweeper during World War II. He retired in 1979 after 25 years with the RTD as a diesel mechanic. Dale is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ferne Lauchart; son Kurt Lauchart; two sisters and one brother of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Internment took place at Kern River Valley Cemetery.
