Lavender, Orval E.     
REDDING - Orval E. Lavender, born 1923 in Norwood, CO, passed away February 4, 2008. 
He served in the Merchant Marines in WWII, he was an insurance underwriter for 60 years, 
a resident of Redding for 45 years, and a member of the Toastmasters Club for 45 years. 

He is survived by his wife Ruth Lavender, son Tim Lavender, grandson Pryce Lavender, 
Daughter and son-in-law Linda and Jim Legg as well as other grandchildren and great 
grandchildren. 

Services will be held at the Millville Cemetery on February 11, 2008 at 2 p.m.
