J. G. LAWRENCE SERVICES HELD

Requiem mass was offered at 10 am today (Monday) in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic 
Church for John George Lawrence, 85, of Colusa, who died Friday in Colusa Memorial 
hospital. A native of California, Mr Lawrence was born September 1, 1885. He lived in 
Colusa County for the past six years. He was a veteran of World War 1 and was a member 
of the Catholic church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs Mary Highstreet of Colusa; two 
nieces and six great nieces. Interment was in the Colusa Catholic Cemetery with 
McNary- Moore directing. The rosary was recited last night (Sunday) in Sullivan Chapel.
