Ruby A. Long passed away on June 5, 1998.
She had been a member of the Boron community for 50 years. Ruby had always stood by her 
husband and children through the worst and the best of times. She always helped others in their 
time of need from funerals to drill team and Miss Boron pageants. Ruby will join her mother, 
father, son and granddaughter. She leaves behind her family, Huey, Vickie, James Long and 
Tina Dawson, her sister, Doris Munoz, brother Bill Mayes and 11 grandchildren.
Services were held Jun 26 at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Boron. Rev. Al Stilley 
officiated, Interment at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster.
