Jessie Agnes Malwitz mourned at age of 87
DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 4 at the Downey Zrelak Mortuary Chapel for Jessie 
Agnes Malwitz, a Downey resident for five years, who died at her home Dec. 25. 
She was 87, born in Miner County, South Dakota, and was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon 
in 1993. 
Survivors include her daughters, Bonlyn (Ben) Bailey of Downey and Julaine Rose of Virginia; a brother, 
Palmer Hauge of El Segundo; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. 
The Rev. Chuck King, grandson-in-law, officiated. 
Burial followed in Graceland Memorial Park, Howard, South Dakota. Arrangements were by the Downey 
Zrelak Family Mortuary.
