James J. Manning, 86, of Santee died Friday. He was born in Dilworth, 
Minn., and had retired after working as a tool and die maker for Convair.
Survivors include his daughter, Maureen E. Henshaw of Santee; son, Robert 
"Bobby" Manning of El Cajon; sister, Delores Sheppard of Oceanside; five 
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services: 3 p.m. Jan. 6, Greenwood Mortuary, Interstate 805 and Imperial 
Avenue, San Diego.
Donations: Children's Hospital.
