A graveside funeral service was held Thursday, November 12 at the Tehachapi 
Public Cemetery, Eastside, for Owen Marlow, 86, who passed away on November 9.
Owen was born February 13, 1912 in Braggs, Oklahoma and had been a resident of 
Tehachapi since 1950. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was very 
dedicated to his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie, in November of 1994. He is survived by 
his son, Harold Marlow and his wife Marion of Tehachapi; daughter,' Wanda Hibbs of 
Tehachapi; brother, Olen Marlow and wife Jackie of Bakersfield; sisters, Daisy 
Sedwick of Bakersfield, Ginny Asher, arid Judy Reese and husband Bill of Portland, 
Oregon; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-
grandchildren.
Pastor Dale Rhodes officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral Service handled 
the arrangements
