The Downey Eagle April 27, 2001 Volume 9 Number 10 Hubert Wayne Marshall mourned at age of 72 DOWNEY-Funeral services were held Thursday, April 26, at the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary Chapel for Hubert Wayne Marshall, an electrician with Norris Industries for more than 40 years. He was 72, born July 10, 1928 in Frederick, Oklahoma, and died April 20 in a Lynwood hospital. He had an immense loyalty to his country and family. He was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve for more than 40 years. The core values of the Navy were his, honor, courage and commitment. He enjoyed walks with his wife; his cats; feeding squirrels and birds; a good political discussion; his T-Bird; anything military and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; four brothers, Nathan, Dale, Doyle and Don; a sister in law, Judy, and her family, Jerry, Marty, Tim and Steven; his children, Sally and Ken. Burial followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, with full military honors provided by the U.S. Navy. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
