98 years old, died on Jan. 15, 2009, in Simi Valley, Calif.

Walt was born on Dec. 18, 1910, in Columbus, Ohio. He lived in Big Bear 
for over 20 years and Walt will always be remembered by his family and 
friends as "a great guy who loved to walk daily in Eagle Point with his 
beloved companion and best friend Bo".

Walt was employed for 40 years with Knudsen as a supervisor sales 
representative. He is survived by his son Walter Marti, Jr., his brother 
Warner Marti and four grandchildren Kim Uebelhardt, David Marti, Robert 
Marti and Cheryl Moss.
