Our little angel, Kaiden Nicholas Martinez, passed away suddenly Feb. 28, 2008. He was born 
Oct. 22, 2007 and lived his entire life in Apple Valley.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Velma Lesieur; and his great-uncle, Mark 
Stevens.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tanya and Nicholas Martinez of Apple Valley; his brothers 
Eian and Gavin of Apple Valley; his grandparents Ernie Martinez of Apple Valley, Matt and Tina 
Van Dyke of Apple Valley, and Tammy Simmons of Apple Valley; his great-grandparents Ernesto 
and Carmen Martinez of Apple Valley, and Kevin and Diane Best of Oak Hills; his great-great 
grandparents Gene and Dorothy Best of Oak Hills, and Eva Stevens of Ridgecrest; his aunts 
Marissa Martinez, Brittany Van Dyke, Sabrina Van Dyke, and Hally Simmons of Apple Valley; 
his uncles Christian Martinez, Matthew Van Dyke, and Nathan Simmons of Apple Valley; and his
numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 24000 Waalew, 
Apple Valley. A reception will follow at the Full Gospel Church, Seneca Road, Apple Valley.

Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
