Joseph A. Matusevich Mass Monday, Oct. 26
SOUTH GATE-A Memorial Mass will be heard at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 at St. Helen Catholic Church 
in South Gate, for Joseph Anthony Matusevich, a 53-year South Gate resident, who died Oct. 20 at 
St. Francis Medical Center. 
He was 82, born in Travis, Staten Island, New York, and was a machinist for 40 years for the Notthoff 
Tool Co. in Huntington Park. 
He was a member of the Downey Knights of Columbus Council 3697. 
Survivors include his wife, Helen; a son, Allan J. Matusevich of Makaha, Hawaii; a brother, John 
Matusevich; sisters Polly Choban and Jeannette Wisinski, both of New York, and Sophie Highan of 
New Jersey. 
The Rev. Father Jerome Bouska, Pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by the Downey Zrelak Family 
Mortuary.
