Orval E. Mawson remembered by many
DOWNEY-Services were held Jan. 10 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside for Orval E. 
Mawson, a truck driver for Economy Blue Print for 35 years, who died at Specialty Hospital in La 
Mirada Jan. 3. 
He was 82, born in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Joseph Amos Mawson and Mina Eleanor 
Leathan Mawson. 
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. 
Survivors include his sister, Ella Penney; and several nieces and nephews. 
Burial followed in Riverside. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
