Adrain E. McAllister mourned at age of 59
SOUTH GATE-Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary 
Chapel for Adrain Eugene McAllister, a South Gate resident for 27 years and a dock worker for 26 
years employed most recently by D.S.L. Trucking Co., who died at Downey Community Hospital Dec. 5. 
He was 59, born Oct. 17, 1939, and was a former resident of Maywood. 
Survivors include his wife, Ruth McAllister; his son, David McAllister of South Gate; a daughter, Sherry 
Buescher of Downey; brothers Henry, Steve and Larry McAllister of Missouri; and a sister, Alma Diehl 
of Saugus. 
Pastor Gary Beard of the United Methodist Church of Downey officiated. Private cremation followed. 
Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
