All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. "Big Bear Grizzly"; Wednesday, December 14, 2005 Jack Stuart McKinnon 22, passed Dec. 10, 2005, in Big Bear City, Calif. Born May 3, 1983, in Big Bear, Calif., Jack lived his entire life here, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed snowboarding and his many friends. Jack is survived by his parents, Tim and Valerie McKinnon; stepmother Lori McKinnon; sisters, Amy and Sarah; brothers, Jason and Stephen; grandparents, Stuart and Lorraine McKinnon of Wash., and Ted and Connie Garber of Big Bear; uncles, John Scott and wife Jen, Tom and Bea McKinnon, and Chris McKinnon; also numerous cousins and family friend Herb Jones. He was our gentle giant and will be greatly missed by many, and will forever be in our hearts. Jack's gone fishing! Private services will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, at Big Bear Mortuary Chapel followed by graveside service for all friends at Gold Mountain Memorial Park at 1 p.m. Big Bear Mortuary, directors.
