Louana C. McLaughlin mourned by many here
DOWNEY-A Funeral Mass was heard Monday, Aug. 24 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 
for Louana C. McLaughlin, the manager of The Arizonian apartment complex in Downey and a 25 year 
local resident, who died Aug. 20 in Downey Community Hospital. 
She was born in Bryant, South Dakota and was 85, formerly of Pico Rivera and was a member of Our 
Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1981. 
Survivors include her sister, Valerine Greenwood of Nixa, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, 
grand nieces and grand nephews. 
The Rev. Peter Coffey officiated. Burial followed in the McLaughlin Cemetery in McLaughlin, South 
Dakota. Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
