Family memorial for Melba McMahon at 76
LOS OSOS-Private family memorial services were held at her home in Los Osos for Melba McMahon, 
a former Downey resident for 26 years before moving to Los Osos in March. 
She was 76, born Nov. 30, 1922 in Oklahoma, and died Dec. 12. Before her lengthy Downey residence, 
she lived in Livermore for 15 years. She was a volunteer for the Downey Community Hospital Auxiliary 
and a member of the Downey Newcomers Club. 
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John McMahon of Los Osos; daughters Karin Reitz of 
Livermore, Kathleen Hanis of Lathrop; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 
Arrangements were by the Neptune Society.
