Beatrice Owens McPherson remembered
DOWNEY-Memorial services will be held tomorrow (Saturday, March 16) at 2 p.m. at Miller-Mies 
Mortuary Chapel for Beatrice Owens McPherson, a Downey resident for 39 years and the owner 
and operator of "The Glen," a pub in Downey for 35 years. 
She was 72, born in Lanarkshire, Scotland, March 29, 1929 and died March 6. 
Survivors include her two sons, James McPherson and Larry McPherson; five grandchildren and 
four great-grandchildren. 
Pastor John Rose will officiate. Private burial will follow. 
Friends may visit at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Miller-Mies Chapel.
