Fresno Bee 9 Mar 1964 Funeral services for Alonzo Means, 39, of 509 East Peralta Way will be held Thursday at 10 AM in the Harry Palm Chapel. Means was a maintenance man for the city housing authority. He suffered a heart attack last night and was dead on arrival at a local hospital. He had lived in Fresno and Raisin City for 27 years. He was a native of Stillwell, Okla. Means is survived by his widow. Floyetta; a son, Ronald, and three daughters, Lonine, Glenda Sue and Judy Lynn, all of Fresno; his father, the Rev. P. O, Means of Ukiah, Mendocino County; two brothers, David Means of Fresno and Earl Means of Bakersfield, and six sisters, Fay Anna Means of Healdsburg, Sonoma County, Mrs. Marie Johnson, Mrs. Mary Dunlap and Mrs. Leola Reed, all of Ukiah, Mrs. Dollie Baker of Fresno and Mrs. May Hardrove of Baltimore, Md.
