Memorial mass held for Otto Joseph Meckes
DOWNEY-A memorial mass was held Jan. 13 at St. Raymond's Catholic Church for Otto Joseph Meckes, 
a longtime resident of Downey who died at his home Jan. 9. 
He was 82, born Aug. 12, 1918 in Vancouver, Washington, to parents Otto and Adelaid. He loved 
crossword puzzles and golf and was often seen golfing with his wife, Louise. 
Survivors include wife Louise; sons Joseph, Richard; daughters Marla, Nancee, Joy, Martha, Bobbi; and 
16 grandchildren. 
Arrangements were by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
