TWO LOSE LIVES IN ACCIDENT
A horrible automobile accident in which an elderly couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 
Gordon Millen, aged 55 and 51 respectively were killed occurred on Saturday 10 
miles south of Mojave
Mr. and Mrs. Millen were motoring on Highway No. 6 at 3:25 p. m. when their 
car was involved in a head-on collision with a truck driven; by Jack M. Hodges, 
22, of Rosamond. Mr. Hodges sustained a fractured skull and is now an inmate of 
the Mojave hospital.
The accident was investigated by Officer C. A. Scott of the California State 
Patrol who ordered the removal of the bodies of the victims.
The Mojave Ambulance Service, now being conducted by Cecil Tucker, 
answered the call to the scene of the accident.
