Edgar Monge, a 20-year resident of Tehachapi and California City California, passed away 
on January 7, 2000. He was born in New York, NY on August 16, 1922 and worked as a 
computer operator at Edwards Air Force Base. He also served in the Army from 1942 to 
1945.
Mr. Monge was preceded in death by his wife Dora Monge in 1995
He is survwed by his sons, Juan Monge of Tehachapi, CA, Edgar Monge of San Jose, Costa 
Rica: daughters Sylvia Russell and Gloria Padilla both of Tehachapi, Mansol Perez of San 
Jose, Costa Rica and Ana Monge six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held on January 13, 2000 at the Stickel Mortuary Chapel by Pastor 
Scott Smith. Arrangements by Stickel Mortuary.
