From Southern Oregon Pioneer Association Records, "Resolutions on deaths of members," Volume II, pages 200-201. Transcribed and submitted by Margaret Wells, March 2005. [Transcriber's notes: Typed verbatim. The ship is probably "Nestor", not "Neston." His wife's maiden name was Rebecca Rose Plowman, not Pluman. His daughter's married name was Carrie Lehners. The son, Fred, is actually named George Edwin Moore, "Fred" being his nickname.] Margaret is a descendant of Augustus Moore and would like to correspond with others researching this line.
